Firstly I would a big thank you to Lara Moss for organising the event this year in Queenstown. Lara did a fantastic job arranging the field trip up to Glenorchy, organising the judge, setting up the venue and hosting the evening.
(Glenorchy Field Trip: It was the first time I had ventured up past Queenstown to that part of the country, spectacular scenery.)
This year the prints were displayed with no names, which made for an interesting night trying to guess whose prints were whose. It also made the announcement of the results even that more exciting. As after the judge announced the winner and discussed the merits of the print, the next step was to peel the print off the wall to find out whose print it was! (Not even the judge knew whose prints they were)
The judging was undertaken by Michael Thomas, an editorial, and commercial photographer based in Arrowtown, (http://www.michaelthomas.co.nz/about.php).
The Results - Judged by Michael Thomas
